Something has to change regarding our asylum policy/ how we are dealing with this.

It’s completely unsustainable to have that many people coming here illegally. As mentioned above we need proper processing centres and to invest in stopping the human traffickers.

The government have done nothing to stop the situation or to help genuine refugees. Lots of the people crossing are now just living in hotels as there isn’t enough housing - not enough for the local population either

Government, politicians and other seem almost scared to actually sort this out or do anything. Help genuine refugees and deport people who have no right to be here

Even in the society we currently live in,where life has become incredibly difficult and stressful,very few would have an issue with genuine refugees,its the frauds/opportunists and criminals that are boiling peoples piss.

Although not directly related, I think you'll find that until we start honouring our obligations under the Northern Ireland Protocol the issue of increased processing at Calais is a non starter.

Maybe if ... the lake district, north wales, cornwall, east anglia, peak district, home counties, most of north yorkshire.. you get the drift.. if these bastions of english whiteness pulled their weight and helped the northern/midlands industrial towns and cities out...by taking their fair share of immigrants, then and only then would integration happen across the country, but, it's always the poor areas that get poorer and more crowded - integration? all for it, 100% - it's the ones who protesteth too much who aren’t really for it.
