Just what I heard from a lass from the international refugee or migrant watch thingy - caught it on the radio earlier and she did say 1.4m but cited they had taken a lot of people in from Ukraine. Suppose it depends whether people stay there or transit on give the war started in February. They could have taken 3 million for example but if 99% have moved elsewhere given the close proximity that Finland has to Russia the migrants figure would be correct as would the population - hard to finalise the annual rate until the year end I suppose.

He was very specific and referred to Europeans as OK, African and Middle East, bad.

Racist tendencies have always been there, just hidden away due to the changing times. Just says how the mood has changed when people now feel it is the right time to be completely open about it. That change came about when we got our very own Donald Trump in power.

I doubt the concept of white European people who follow Islam is a thing he thinks can happen. I'd like to think he went before a Syrian Muslim doctor the morning after this aired who told him not to worry the tests showed nothing of concern.....

I’m pretty sure that’s a clip from just after the vote to leave the EU, so nothing to do with changing times. Also, there’s a lot of ‘red wall’ voters who voted leave for exactly the same reason as him and really have never been afraid to say it.
