TEVEZ 7/4

has this been up :-(

As has already been stated Tevez could have gone to Real Madrid when he moved from United but he chose us for various reasons. He is also the type of player that likes to play for the underdog and make a difference. Unless he has had a huge fallout with Mancini there is zero chance of him going.

Exactly who in the World can pay better wages also....is he going to take a paycut?

Mancini always says that if a player is unhappy it is better that he goes but Tevez has just had his best season ever here and plays nearly every game. Also it's easy to say that (of Robinho) as it's clear we want shut. Tevez is our talisman and won't be allowed to leave "Welcome to Manchester" and all that.

Are we seriously saying he is going because he can speak Spanish? Nothing would ever suprise me in football but I'd say Tevez to Real Madrid is doubtful to say the least.

Not sure Madrid was an option? Anyway his native tongue and therefore i presume also his daughters is spanish.

The 4 options that he had according to his agent were

1. Stay at United
2. City
3. Chelsea
4. Madrid

As far as I remember option 4 was dismissed even before option 1 was due to reasons I have already stated.

Also Mancini has already said that he wont keep any player who does not want to be here and he gave Tevez the opportunity to go but Tevez stated he was happy here and wanted to stay!

I would be very surprised to see him go this Summer!

Well it is in the agents interest to say several clubs are interested - wouldnt read too much into that.

I would be surprised but if Real do come calling id say it is likely he would go and you couldnt blame him. Hopefully just paper talk.

I wouldnt blame any player for wanting to join Madrid but I would still be very surprised if he left.

The one thing I will say is at least from our point of view the right club for us is in for him because Madrid generally pay top whack so I think we would be looking at £40 million cash or at least some very good players + cash!

If we had the following join us:

Silva
Torres
Dzeko (Maybe to partner Torres with Silva just behind)
Boatang
Kaka (possible I think)
Milner

Would you still be upset if Tevez left? I'm not so sure I would be tbh. But it would be dependant on the above signing.
