He's a massive **** who's trying it on. At our place of work people use the depression card or addicted to alcohol/drugs card to become untouchable, which they are when that card is played. He's doing the same thing. I know people get depressed for a whole variety of reasons, but if I was on enough money each month I don't have to worry for the rest of my life, played a game I love, didn't really have to consider my job as 'work', had my wife and kids here and generally had it very fucking easy indeed, I wouldn't be depressed even if I looked like a burnt gargoyle. As I say, he's a massive ****. Thankfully though, he is missed not one little bit in regards to where it matters, on the pitch.

I doubt Tevez is depressed. However, I dont really think you understand depression. You seem to be saying that rich people do not get depressive illnesses which is tosh. You are also able to diagnose your work colleagues illnesses too. Maybe you should be grateful that you have not suffered with depression which is a mental illness with a physical basis, totally different to feeling sad or pissed off.

While Depression is no laughing matter (Robert Enke for example), whatever Tevez' problems may be, they are of his own making, either through his actions or the actions of those he is associated with.

The point I am making is he has ran out of cards to play, and as one who has seen people throw the depression card on the table when backed into a corner, I suspect that is exactly what this odious little twat is doing right now.

Millions suffer from depression and still manage to act professionally at work.

I bet he won't be too depressed to play for another club come January.

Very true that Moomba, but at the same time there are just as many who aren't able to hold down a job or conduct themselves as they should. It depends on the individual, the severity and root cause of the depression, and the level of support or medical assistance they are receiving.

If he is really that depressed in Manchester he could have offered to lower his wage demands and got his move to Spain or Italy as he wanted.
Or would it be really 'depressing' being on just a mere £150,000 a week.

I don't think anyone is downplaying the effects of depression, the many guises it can take.

However, because all of these stunts are not confined to just Tevez, his agent has pulled plenty in his name, does he have depression, also?

I come to my own conclusion.

He does anyone who suffers with depression a massive disservice, and this contributes to the wider ignorance of others.

Same people who cry rape or play the race card, and have been found to be lying.

If he is suffering from depression, why did he even bother trying to contact Mancini last week? I mean if your sick, do you try to phone your boss up for some time off or do you ring up and say "I'm sick I won't be coming in!" It maked no sense.
