Tevez [Merged]

Not claiming to be ITK, and I a certaininly not a WUM, and have thought long and hard before posting this, but I was told yesterday from the banking world that we have signed Tevez, I dont know anymore than that.

Do I believe it, I really dont know, but we can only hope.

Explain that if you can? Who in the "Banking world" would know this and why?
 
Ronaldo going does not affect the Tevez deal by any stretch. They had the money for him anyway, it was Tevez's decision to either stay or go.

If the reports are true he's already agreed to join City anyway.

United described the offer for the 24-year-old as unconditional and added that they expected the matter to be concluded by 30 June.

By which time the Tevez deal would be done.

Yes they could by paying by instalments. I reminded everyone on another thread...the rags are in a difficult financial position right now...they cannot afford to pay their loan interest...I expect a chunk of their money from the Ronaldo deal (probably being received in instalments) to balance the books a bit.

City have a huge advantage over most clubs in that we can pay transfer fees up front in cash...that will give us an edge plus be able to negotiate lower transfer fees.
