Assist bonus aswell?
They should get fined for a miss too.

Has it been done anywhere else?

It would be nice to think that any professional footballer is putting everything he's got into his performance...

Sorry, I'll stop now!

Yeah it would be nice to think so. A nice dream that!
Sorry I'll stop now as well!

Anyway, back to Tevez as Eto'o as hijacked his thread.

When's he signing and how come a Spurs fan knows more than us Blues?

He was selfish in the CL final and look what he did!!

How good is watching that?!
Can't see who he could have passed to, and he was in a better than 50/50 position anyway. I'm talking about the selfish players who persist in taking pot shots from 30+ yards in order to get themselves on the highlights shows.

It is wonderful to watch though. Especially when the commentator shouts United ZERO at the end.

Tevez is still in contract until the end of the month, probably nothing will happen until then. I reckon the thread will still be going strong.

Is it only me who rates Ned better than Lescock?

Nope, I agree with you entirely.

On what basis - that he came through are academy. Come on Ned is quality but still learning. Will he be better than him in a few years, quite possibly but not at the minute.

I just don't rate Lescott, personally would prefer his centre back partner Jagielka.

If he signs hopefully he'll prove me wrong.

Good so that settles it then, we having a partnership of Ned and Kompany.

I would definitely prefer that, than splashing out 20m on Lescott.
What about Lescott at left back? He played there loads of times for Everton whilst Baines was out of favour, and i always thought he looked good there. He has a surprisingly good cross on him and is comfortable on the ball. He's also better at dealing with one-on-one's than Bridge and would stop more crosses from coming in. Ball's contract is not being renewed and Garrido may well be sold, so we could have Bridge and Lescott fighting it out for left back, whilst also having Lescott and Dunne as cover for Onuoha and Kompany. Zab and Micah to compete for right back. Is that a possible option? It's pretty much 2 players for every position.
