Tevez [Merged]

I rarely comment on transfer news unless it's a done deal, because I don't want to get my hopes up on a player that could come back and bite us on the arse next season. But it is looking increasingly like something is going to happen with Tevez this week (as a number of people have informed the forum, most of them like predicting what time the world will end [4 pm SSN conference]). Perhaps we could chill and wait for it to happen, baring in mind he seems to have already burnt his bridges at the swamp (wearing Argintina shirt and not turning up to awards ceromonies) take into account city don't announce anything till it is done, and where city are concerned no news is good news. So relax, no more new threads, untill...

I clearly support LFC . Or did you not get that ?? ?
Jesus wept.
He only wept with tears of laughter because his dad's own team City, signed Barry after all your hard work trying to persuade him to sign for you! And are now about to sign Teves from the rags. To be fair all my family are bin dippers and even they will admit your in the managshit money wise and In turn will struggle to spend more than £15m on any one player.... I would say take a not out of their book and accept next season will be a long one for the rag coloured half of Liverpool.

I cant guarantee what amounts we will spend of course but your family clearly dont know what they are talking about mate , no offence , because those accounts that were published have no bearing on our club right now as they were for the period 07/08 , we may well sign players for above the 20M mark , dont be surprised if we do , we may not but it has nothing to do with what has been in the press , the media , as usual have gone way over the top with it because thats what they are paid to do , to make a story from nothing.
To brush it off just as "to make a storey from nothing" makes you more deluded than i realised, you have been supposed to be moving or should i say building a stadium for god knows how long. You couldn't raise extra cash for Barry last year, also when you do have money your manager throw it around like monopoly. See Keane, Babbel and Dossena et el. i'd be more worried about yourselves than us boys!!

Nevertheless your Auditors qualified the Kop Holdings accounts, and the loans from Wachovia and RBS are likely to be extended at best at punative interest rates. These are facts.

I am sure you will be active in the trasnfer mkt, but you have to be careful

Tricky - bit of a silly comment that.

You may well be right that things aren't as bad as they seem with Liverpool's finances, however, to say that a player would not even know if he signed for utd or city is a bit stupid!

I cant get my head round this, talksport claim he signed last week but the story hasnt appeared anywhere else, normally the smallest rumour appears all over the media. For it not to be even mentioned elsewhere is bizarre, even if the story is untrue it should have at least been discussed somewhere. Have checked a few of the papers on line and nothing.

If i was paranoid i swear that the media have been gagged or threatend with some sort of legal action if the story is reported but some pillock at talksport has opened his gob.

I have a bad feeling about this, hope i am wrong.
I checked all the online international newspapers this morning and found nothing on Teves only Kaka's medical, Milan are back tracking on the Kaka deal a bit. Some things not right but I still think we'll get Teves.

Why at a busy time on our forum are so many City fans taking up valuable space with some dog shit scouser and ruining a good thread
I cant even believe you are arguing with him you must be dim decent City fans cant get on to get news about OUR club so just go to some scouse board and argue there they have fuckall to talk about and leave us to discuss football

Wanting this to hurry up now.

Yeah man, the longer it drags on the longer I worry that the Rags will scupper the deal! An announcement on Thursday would make sense seeing as he's preparing for a World Cup Qualifier but this site's going to go mental if we've got to wait till then....or longer!
