A friend of mine who has good links with the club told me that this is indeed what is going to happen. He told me the Tevez deal is nailed on but that the Kaka deal has thrown the timing out by a day or two.

Would make sense, and sure it would suit Tevez especially if he's got Cook in his ear telling him how much of media attention a player of his quality deserves etc. Think with the rags being involved everyone's getting more twitchy than Redknapp after 10 cans of redbull. Looks like we aren't going to hear anything till after the Argentina game.....I hope the ITK's are right and it is done, but if not we have a whole summer ahead of us, and Sheikh Mansour's not playing games, nor is Hughes, Barry was a great start. I'm sure there's more to come!
