Every day that now passes has to suggest that it appears less likely that Carlos Tevez will end up as a City player.

Surely any contractual matters could have been sorted by now.

Eh, paperwork will have to be checked by FA to make sure legit, they don't work over weekends, only been free to speak to us since last wednesday, MH said it would take some time to sort.
 
the things to remember are
1. the f.a will be going through the paperwork to make sure tevez is rid of his agent
2.apart from early on when chelsea and liverpool were interested,no other club has expressed a interest
3. tevez is recently telling the media he cant wait to score against utdin the league
4.tevez has paid for his daughter to go to a private school in cheadle.

so just be a little more patient, tevez WILL be a city player this week :-)

Also think the institutional power of the rags will mean the FA are looking for some way to block this transfer. Wouldn't be surprised if they come up with a new rule meaning you can't play for teams with the same city name in them in concurrent seasons.

I'm confident of this happening either tomorrow or Tuesday. I'm going to now go and catch up with sleep after a hectic weekend and hope by the time I come round tomorrow he has signed!

It's the Premier League that will be checking the contract, not the FA.
