What did the interview actually say?

That he wouldn't come back to Manchester after he's either left us, or his contract has run out. "Not even on Holiday!", like anyone comes to Manchester on Holiday anyway, it's a complete non-comment.
Oh, that interview. He does'nt like manchester because he can't speak English. If he learned the language he'd settle down and find it decent.

It's always been interesting that he's never learned the language. For me, although he's under obligation to learn it, it'd be nice to see him make an effort to at least grasp BASIC English before he bitches about the country and its many flaws.

Re: Is Tevez Really All That Important?

Watching him chatting to teammates before games, I think his English may be better that the media think.

Re: Is Tevez Really All That Important?

yes he is.

52 goals in 81 games is an amazing record

also the shift/work rate he puts in each time he plays, for a striker is phenomenal.

you need a striker who will regularly bang in 15-20+goals a season if you want to win and challenge for things.....

Why do you need a link? Don't you watch him in the flesh each game? I do and see him talking to his teams mates all the time. I have also been down to Carrington on occasion and have seen the same there.

Rather than repeatedly asking for a link, get off your arse, watch games in the flesh, take notice of what goes on and maybe you would be able to understand a decent point, when made on the forum.

Re: Is Tevez Really All That Important?

Of course he speaks basic fucking English, it's a myth that he doesn't!

People perpetuate this garbage because they never see him give an interview in English. There's a very good reason he does not do interviews in English, it makes him sound retarded! and not because he doesn't know the language, he has a very heavy lisp when speaking English.

Re: Is Tevez Really All That Important?

I was down the front for Sunderland away(in their end) and he came over and spoke- my wife and daughter had a big argie flag drapped over the railings. His English seemed OK.

All the times Ive seen him at COM, he chats away during warm ups.

Wow, someone woke up on the wrong side of bed. Why don't you get your fucking cup of coffee and come back when your not a miserable arse. When I'm at the game I don't watch the players gossip, never have, never will. Yes my post seems to look like i'm being impatient but my laptop froze and sent it twice along with the edited version.

-- Mon Jun 13, 2011 10:54 am --

Cheers peterctid. I can't quote as my laptop is being to slow.

Re: Is Tevez Really All That Important?

Do we need him?

Yes unfortunately we do.

It is clearly the 'Mancini way' to play 1-up front and you need a seriously good lone front man to lead the line.

In the Premier league there are only a few players who can fit this role. IMO

Tevez, Drogba, Torres, Rooney and possibly Bent.

So we either keep him or we find a seriously good front man! I think Dzeko has potential but at the moment he has not quite found his groove.

That camera did for me as well the fucker. Thought it was 40 there the barstewards. Don't suppose Tev will be bothered about the fine although he might want to attend the speed awareness course to avoid the 3 points! ;-)
