While you can't argue Carlos Tevez was a good player for us you feel that through misguidance of his agent and so called family matters to put it loosely Tevez had been building things up and was wanting out. So with this and other certain players who tried to disrupt things along with the anti City media and inept refereeing Mancini has handled a very tricky season so far with everything thrown at him, well. The team are still top and have played well, scored lots of goals and conceded very few without Tevez. We now move into a very crucial stage of the season where every City fan should forget all their differences and just get behind the club.Certain players in the present squad have dipped in form just get behind them and lets get the blues over the winning post. I feel that City have to include Tevez in the twenty five so the little spoilt brat has no ammo to fire in saying that he has not been isolated and its down to him not wanting to come back to Manchester. FORZA MANCINI.....FORZA CITY !!!!!!!!hgblue said:I argued at the time that Mancini should have handled the Tevez situation differently, and that we may need him at some stage. Admittedly, my opinion was very much a minority one, and the majority supported Mancini's tough stance. Fair enough, Mancini asserted his authority and effectively cut Tevez adrift from the fold. The upside of that was it seemed to bring the squad together and the manager was a happier man without Tevez around. The downside however, is that it's now impossible for Tevez to play for us again without Mancini looking weak (Tevez will not apologise because he thinks he's been treated badly by the manager), and there are serious question marks over whether Tevez's heart would be in it.
Very good post. Totally agree.
