Good stuff. How do you know though, mate? I hope it's true, Chelski were awarded 15 mil for Mutu, we could potentially receive much more for Tevez.
First from tolmie (and he is ITK, I'm over a grand better off due to him in the last 4 transfer windows) this morning.

Second from a senior partner at my firm who very close to well respected previous directors at the club.

I've heard some right old shit on this thread tonight about us having Tevez by the balls.

Much as I'd love that to be the case, the likelihood is that its more the other way round, especially considering Mancini's unfortunate declaration that Carlos's days at the club are over. In light of this, if we stick him in the stiffs, I'd be surprised if he couldn't have us for constructive dismissal.

Therefore, the only option we seem to have is to get rid as soon as possible, although that avenue is seriously undermined too by Mancini having declared that we no longer want him. Any fee that we are now able to bring in will be hugely reduced as a result of other clubs knowing that we want rid!

I'm disappointed that someone within the higher echelons of the club (maybe a press officer, or club lawyer), wasn't on hand last night prior to Mancini going out to face the press. If there was someone with a legal mind watching the managers back, I'm convinced they would have told him to say nothing, for fear of prejudicing our future chances of a positive outcome for the club. Once again, the club appear to have dropped the ball!

With all of this in mind, the only way I can see us getting our 2 aims of a) getting rid of him & b) getting our money back, would seem to be through any insurance policies we have taken out on the transfer fees we paid for him. I would imagine that we are covered in the event of him becoming incapacitated & being unable to fulfil his duties, so in my view, this should be the way the club looks to recover any losses.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure that being an ugly little **** qualifies as a disability great enough to prevent him playing football, & I'm quite certain that the "mental & physical state" that prevented him from warming up & playing last night will have miraculously cleared up now that he feels he's got what he wants.

This leaves us hoping that he picks up a career ending injury & he's far more likely to do that if he's made to train rather than banned from the training ground (if you get my drift)!

They will receive not one single penny through the courts! Not one! Look at Mutu.

Tevez has now publicly claimed that he is ready & willing to play when called upon & in his view, it was a misunderstanding about warming up, not about being prepared to play. Whether you or I believe that or not is irrelevent; you can't sue a man for refusing to fulfill his duties when he publicly states that he is willing to do exactly that!

Well, Chelsea are thick to just let it go.

As for CT, his very actions go against his statement.

Why not go clarify it with the manager??

Why not go and demand to be put on??

Go and argue with Mancini and show us this alleged 'readiness'.

Pathetic.

I've been lurking on this site for a very, very long time. I know he's ITK.

Thanks for the source, though mate. :D

Fucking GLAAAAD we're taking him to court.

Tish and pish vonky!

Mutu will be forced to pay once all rights of appeal via graduated courts have been concluded.

As for his statement this morning, it contradicts what he said last night on live tv.

You really think people with more legal acumen than you or I haven't been discussing this for 24 hours to date?

Section 12 paragraph 14 sub heading

Employment law in sporting contracts

Where a individual who under contract with a governing sporting body recognised under National law ( section 2319 government law and sport 1999) has refused to reasonably justify self exclusion from said contract then the contract holders may take the following action

Suspend the thick argie **** ( suspension of dozy **** act 1987) for a time deemed reasonable by contract holders

Removal of spaz downy fuckwit from all sporting and related contract affiliation ( window lick act 1936 ammended under rooney act 2011)

And / or a public kicking and " kick a spaz" event , superceded by hanging ( giggs act 2011 )

Mmmmm interesting

Sorry M8 but I work with kids with learning difficulties

'Spaz' and 'Downy' FFS do you actually understand the terms ???

kids with Cerebral Palsey ('Spaz' to you ) have no intellectual impairments
which begs the question about you

Re 'Downy' [sic] Check out the French film 'The 8th day' .... erm sorry I wouldn't want to patronise you if you'd already seen it....... ??!!

FFS we're all angry about the twunt Tevezbut don't use this as a crap disablist fest

Well I work with a bunch of cunts and that words been branded freely

I considered getting offended then realised this is just banter on a forum and had the nouse to consider it as such ,

Take your " offended by proxy" rant elsewhere it doesn't work on me

So spaz and downy are still OK currency words for reasonable people ? OK so how do people with CP manage to get to the baseline of the assuption that they're just as bright as you or me (e.g job interviews) , despite twitching and dribbling, when thiose symptoms are still equated with 'idiocy' ??

I agree, but its not as simple as that in a court of law.

Oh, and Chelsea didn't let it go. They demanded a transfer fee from 2 seperate clubs that acquired Mutu's services. Neither club ever felt inclined to pay said fee. And they are still pursuing Mutu through the courts for him to pay up his contract, a course of action which Mutu has successfully avoided for getting on for 10 years.

At some point in the distant future, Mutu may run out of avenues of appeal, & assuming the case goes against him, may be told to pay up. But given 10 years to work out what to do in such an event, do you honestly think that he wouldn't have made sure that his assets had been successfully hidden from view?

Joorabchian is a **** but he's not thick, & if our directors honestly think they stand a chance of getting any money out of Carlos or Kia's pockets before hell freezes over, I worry for the state of their sanity!

Tevezgate: Carlos is an irate passenger who flies in the face of respect

It was the sight of Carlos Tevez lambasting a member of the Manchester City media department on the flight home from Munich that pretty much said it all.

Sitting in seat 7C on the plane, Tevez waved his finger angrily at the stunned official and demanded ‘respect’. ‘Respect, respect, respect,’ he said, citing an issue he had with the official’s intervention during a post-match interview.

The irony will not be lost on those who would question whether Tevez actually knows the meaning of respect.

If he did, the apology he issued on Wednesday morning would have been addressed to his manager and his team-mates as well as the supporters who paid good money to watch their team play Bayern Munich.

If he did, he would never have refused to play in the first place when City were two goals down in a difficult Champions League clash.

Had he had respect for the football club who pay him £250,000 a week, having paid Manchester United a transfer fee believed to be well in excess of £40million, he would have apologised on Tuesday night and joined his colleagues on the bus that took them from Manchester Airport to Carrington.

As it was he refused to say anything then climbed into a Hummer with only a driver for company.

No wonder City’s lawyers spent Wednesday examining his contract in a bid to ascertain if there had been a serious breach.

This is a situation that needs a swift resolution — and one that does not favour the player more than the club. It cannot end with him securing a free transfer to Corinthians with his contract paid up.

Anyone in any other walk of life would simply have been sacked for refusing to carry out their duties.
What's next? Tevez has been told he won't feature for City again

What's next? Tevez has been told he won't feature for City again

Sadly, the wrong message was delivered by Gordon Taylor. Rather than remind his members this is not the way they should behave, the PFA chief executive spoke of ‘compensation’ for Tevez.

It was as disappointing as the stance adopted by Tevez and it exposes how detached some top players have become from fans who pay their wages.

As Graeme Souness said, Tevez was ‘a disgrace to football’ on Tuesday.

By taking the necessary action City can repair some of the damage.

What a confused life Tevez must lead. He said last night there was confusion on the bench. In court this week he finished up with three points on his driving licence because of more confusion. One of his team should have read the letter demanding the name of the driver but his brief convinced the court that because of the language difficulties etc nobody bothered to reply.
So from confusion on the bench to confusion in front of the bench in the same week.
