Tevez to return (Merged)

simple fact is we've scored something llike 10 goals in the last 7 games - that's not good enough and if we can bring someone in to spice up our forwards then i want to see it happen.

Kun is his head and cant put the ball in in the net like he can

Dzeko sees his arse when he's not picked week in week out - snatches at chances and shoot from retarded andgles - can't put the ball in the net

Mario - not reliable enough - probably will be sent off again before the season is out

Tevez - refuses to warm up/play/whatever and fucks off to argentina

Irrespective of how good a player he is or isn't the man completely shat on my, me and every other City fan.
He cared not one iota for anything other than his selfish self when he refused to do what he was told to do by the Manager. The only reason he is returning is for him. No one has come in and offered him the golden goose as he thought would happen, so he is trying to add stock to himself.
I do not want him to wear the Blue of City ever again, I will not cheer him if he does ever play again and to be honest if he does play again you could forget the lesson in pride song, because we would have none.
He has continually lied and fabricated excuses about wanting to leave. Let him go on our terms. The club needed a signing like him a couple of years ago but not anymore, we are now much bigger than him. I would personally keep paying him as long as he is in Manchester and have him do nothing, completely ruin his career or what's left of it.
As as City fan like you all have I have taken shit because of our lack of success and now where most definately on the cusp of winning something this little toad wants to try and ruin it. What staggers me is that some on here would have him back.

-- Tue Feb 14, 2012 1:29 am --

Most posters just aren't grasping this.

It really is win win for us.he 100% now needs to perform like never before to fix his rep and ensure a move.

And let's face it...there's a ref around the corner about to suspend someone..if its a striker we'll be thankful to have brought him back.

well put.

i'm most worried about the fans reactions (justified) towards him, i don't want anything to damage the team.

agree. Bit worried a bad reaction could effect the team and knock our chances.
We need to support anyone that puts the blue shirt on (no matter what our personal feelings are).

People saying they may not go if he comes back is just as disgusting as his walking out on the team for me... what about the other 10 players on the pitch?? support the team!!!!
It's a big fuck off to them if he comes back, plays and gets supported like nothings happened

If he came back and played(he won't play)AND we won the league,THOUSANDS would say it was all down to him coming back.

If he doesn't come back and play(fingers crossed)AND we win fuck all,TENS OF THOUSANDS would say it was all down to him not coming back.

I agree mate. Believe me, my choice would be for him to stay in argentina.. all day long. But if he's in the team, the team gets supported. No booing his name, silence during his name if people wish but lets just keep it together for the sake of the title challenge. Then when its won, tie the cnut to the front of the open top bus and let him know what we really think

I would rather see Tevez leave on a high note. Don't mind him coming back for half a season if he is willing to work. Would rather win the title with him than watch the scum lift it.

But is he coming back to help, or to further sabotage our efforts? Ever since December '10 I have felt he has worked overtime to undermine the club, with the obvious objective of forcing a move. How do we know this isn't another effort to lower his price and force us to move him?

Looks like he is gunna have to be true to his word and win the fans over he's really pissed most people off. He has pisse me off but I've lived life thinking people deserve a 2nd chance nobody knows the full details of that night in Munich for all we know Tevez could be telling the truth (doubt it tho) I go with what Mancini wants if he plays Tevez I'll back him. Tevez has everything to prove again now and imo that can only be good for us. Rooney screwed the Rags the fans hated him till he started banging em in again I believe Tevez will do the same and most of us will move on.

not if he only plays a bit part coming off the bench.

My issue apart from what has gone on, (need a tin hat now) is that I would never nor have I ever wanted an ex rag at City. They are truely tainted. However tevez is a real piece of work, but like I said we NEEDED him in the early days, we don't now.
