Not sure why I'm bothering because with over 230 pages the chances are that no one's going to bother reading them now but here goes.
As far as I'm concerned, if the players and the manager welcome him back, then I believe the fans should too. If he pulls on a blue shirt and turns out for us, he should be cheered. We can hate him for what he's done in places like this and the pubs and on the vox pops on radio on TV but in that stadium, if he's on that pitch in blue, then we back him all the way.
I've never booed a City player on the field and never will. I'll rip them to shreds on message boards and wherever else but on the pitch, never.
I am just wary of the Rodney Marsh parallel though. The late incoming into a league leading team, upsetting the apple-cart...I'd hate the same to happen. That said, I know Mancini will only play Tevez under certain conditions, those being that he has been successfully integrated into the side and where he knows he can make a difference.
The bottom line in all of this, for me is: My faith is in the manager. Whatever he decides, I will abide by.
