General question- don’t want to start a new thread

We got loud banging through pipes in one side of wall, usually after shower/or toilet flush

Seems to be getting worse. Will call out a Plummer.

If they were to suddenly burst or something -would this be covered under house insurance ? I looked at policy and couldn’t really tell.
 
Mr Maverick. No apology needed. To me if you sign a contract it should be honoured.
Derailing the thread slightly I find it amusing (not) that the French are marching in the streets because the government wants to increase retirement age to......62 ! Us we just say. Oh OK.
We tug our forelocks & bow instead, it's what we Brits always do.
Oh sorry, we might tut if we're really angry

I think he stopped doing house calls after the success of The sound of music. Also being dead is a pretty big hurdle to overcome.
 
If the company goes bump we don't have to buy it back as a nation to fill the pockets of the parasites who own it do we?

Sounds like a you need a water pressure regualtor, they are pretty cheap.

No idea about the house insurance.

Sounds like you have air in the system, one way to stop it run the tap in the sink downstairs and hold your thumb over it to prevent the water coming out, stops the air bubble in the system.
