Thank you NHS

My Grandad’s mother died when giving birth and also, the baby girl she was having also died, although this was many years ago. But, as you say and thankfully, it happens rarely these days.

My dads mum and his twin sister died during childbirth. Miss MB has just qualified as a midwife and they had a mother die a couple of days ago in her unit due to complications. It does happen mate, but fortunately not often.

Been sent to casualty twice by my gp in the last three weeks , 8 hrs first time but needed a drip for an hour , 3 1/2 hrs second time as they thought it was really serious , cant complain , they were crazy busy. Iwas a trauma nurse in my time and it is difficult to juggle hundreds of patients in a day , wish public would be more understanding of it

Had floaters and bright lights appear in my left eye on Tuesday evening. Now what this means as I had it happen in my right eye 18 months ago.

I went straight to the opticians yesterday 11:40 morning for an emergency eye test. They than referred my notes to my doctor and hospital. Within 3 and a half hours I was in the hospital and by 7pm I had had lazor eye surgery.

What a fantastic service thank you NHS.

Great service, but it's laser not lazor.
Smiley, smiley.

Although it is a black hole for money we are certainly blessed to have the NHS. It is, in my opinion, the greatest thing any government, anywhere, has ever done for its citizens and all the people working in it for a living wage deserves to be shown utmost respect.
