I think it’s hard to say because we haven’t seen enough of him, but he looks more controlled. Emerson at his best is better, but over 20 games I’ve a gut feeling Ortega could hold his own.

If we lost Ederson for an entire season, I'd feel good knowing we have Ortega.

It doesn't feel as bad as having to rely on Caballero or Bravo. Ortega is basically a 2nd starter rather than a backup. It's just every time he plays, there are people who act like he's miles ahead of Ederson.
