I fell asleep after 10 minutes of QT (due to tiredness not boredom). Is the rest of the show worth catching on i-player or shall I give it a miss?

It's worth watching if only because a lot of what gets aired is stuff that has been debated in this thread. If question time had featured PB, Skash, Nimrod, GDM and Rasc it might have turned out much the same way.

Thanks, I will give it a watch. Would have liked to have seen TMQ and fetlocks thrown in for good measure!

They're in the audience sat next to johnsononthleft.

In other news johnsonontheleft has been missing since 11.45pm.

It's been an interesting debate this, but can I ask that we keep it on topic please and not veer off into Irish Politics and the violence that ensued, it will just end up in recriminations and arguments, the issues are complex

Cheers

I don't know why but i just read that as if said in a scary irishmans accent:)

Maybe so, but the stereotypical Irishman saying "I know where your kids go to school" was yet another figment of English governments propoganda. I'm English but I reckon I would have been right pissed off if I was Irish and lived there when the English searched them everytime they went to the shops. You don't know the meaning of "agenda"

T'was a joke mr.p.

Thatcher 'death Tweet' policeman Jeremy Scott quits

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-22124015" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-22124015</a>

He went on: "I think the overwhelming sense across the country - and you can see it yesterday in the House of Commons - is that we are mourning the loss of someone who gave a huge amount to this country, an extraordinary leader."

"Overwhelming" is stretching it a little.

Cameron telling it like it isn't.

while i am in favour of free speech and will be demonstrating at the funeral on Wednesday, the police are supposed to act in an impartial manner and not comment on the government of the day.
Therefore as soon as he tweeted he had to go

I agree with you on that pirate.

It's more Cameron telling us that there is an overwhelming amount of mourning for her that sticks in my gullet.

Says it all, about the country being in mourning. Utter bullshit: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2013/apr/09/lady-thatcher-tv-tributes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2013/ap ... v-tributes</a>

The vast majority don't give a shit, and at least as many hated her as will be mourning her.
