Lets just end this thread now. In reality, the "silent majority" have won as usual. All the nonsense about disrupting the funeral etc came to nothing and other than the shrill squeals from the minority the vast majority accept that overall Baroness Thatcher was a benefit to this country.

She is now dead and buried and so should this thread be

R.I.P

the vast majority accept that overall Baroness Thatcher was a benefit to this country.

You mean the vast majority of "decent" people. Your Daily Mail knickers are showing.

How blinkered can you get! Thatcher did indeed win three successive elections, each of which yielded a parliamentary landslide. But she never truly won “the backing of the British people.” Her share of the popular vote was never more than forty-four per cent.

To put it another way, her highest level of popularity was lower than the loser’s tally in five of the last seven American Presidential elections.

But then facts aren't the right's strong suit.

Haha. 2005 election Bliar had 35.2 % and the one before 40.7%

Don't let the facts get in your way ;-)

Yes, but then he wasn't buried on Wednesday, nor do I make claims about the "silent majority".

When anyone mentions the "silent majority" it's always code for no majority at all.

176 pages of sarcasm and prejudice, bitterness and blaming.

Just goes to show what a divided country she created

What has the war criminal and liar got to do with the dead witch? Why do you assume that we that hate thatcher, support labour? Politics is a broad spectrum. The 3 main parties have screwed workers since there formation.

Good point. BTW workers include everybody employed and screwed includes punitive taxes on the higher earners
Still waiting for your definition of 'vast majority' Ronnie.

The funeral was in London. She wasn't worth the petrol money.

Excuses, excuses

Let it go

;.) TBF, I despised most of what she stood for but recognise that many worshiped at her Altar.

While she was certainly a conviction politician , I don't think she was a 'great' leader. As I've said before on here, the truly great aren't despised by millions........

All I am saying is that there are more people for her than many of the blinkered people on tis forum will admit. Either way, she is an old lady, mourned and missed by her family who has now been cremated. End of. End of thread

No that's not all you're saying. You said previously that the 'VAST MAJORITY' supported her. Now you seem to have changed your tune.

No I haven't. See my post re her funeral

Well if he didnt say it then I will now, she was supported by the vast majority in this country, and dispite all the shite the idiotic lefties spouted what shone through from her funeral was the high reguard she was held in by the British people.

The few pathetic fools who tried to have a party were left looking like the f*cking half wited tossers they are, even their master plan of getting the ding dong record to top the charts has a nice irony in that the royalties go to An.drew Lyoyd Weber, a life long supporter of Mrs T and her party.

Even in death she had the last left.
