Thatcher dead

She never attained more than 45% of the vote in any general election. If the majority didn't vote for her then vast, appears to exaggerate a false claim.

Still waiting for your definition of 'vast majority' Ronnie.

Look at the funeral. How many protesters v how many there to respect her passing
Ronnie my man you are so right, that does indeed prove that the vast majority of people in this country supported her.I bow to your superior wisdom.Let's end this thread right here right now.

...or maybe it proves that protesters chose to show decency and respect the funeral.
Ironic that you want to close the thread to suit yourself, though.
But then stifling opposition always was a trait of that rotting Tory woman.

-- Sat Apr 20, 2013 11:28 am --

I can't wait for Tony 'War Criminal' Blair to kick the bucket - then it will be me that is having a street party!

So will we on the left.
In fact it may well be the one and only time that Blair unites the entire country in celebration.

I always find it amusing that there exists a section of the public who loath Blair but love Thatcher. The more shrill the simultaneous love of Thatcher and hate of Blair, the bigger the idiot you are.

There is a huge difference. Maggie did it for the country, where as he did it for himself.

Can you not see that Thatcher was the template for Blair?
Are you utterly incapable of recognising that there was barely a Rizla paper between them in terms of policy?
Why do you think 'old Labour' socialists like me hate him even more than right wing nutjobs?
I hated Thatcher for what she did to my country.
I hate Blair for the same reason, plus he destroyed my party.
You right wingers should love him for shifting the political agenda right-wards, and denying the country a realistic left wing alternative, only most of you are too blind to see it.

-- Sat Apr 20, 2013 11:57 am --

You really are simply too stupid to debate with so, like most other sensible posters, I won't even bother trying.

I will take that as a compliment that you fear me from the biggest hypocrite on here :o)
