The aches and pains thread

A little tip for those suffering from general stiffness. Cut out Tomatoes completely. I was given this tip by a little old lady, as I have been complaining for years. A doctor has since told me that there is a medical reason behind this tip.

It worked for me.
Steve Gerrard suffered stiffness and muscle problems for several years. Spanish specialist told him to stop eating tomatoes……and he was cured.

I have arthritis in both my knees. Had the stiffness, the swelling and the pain on and off for about 5 years now, maybe a bit longer. This is down to me having meniscus ops on both knees in the last 15 years.
But for the last 3 months I've been taking Tumeric vitamins and cod liver capsules plus have been watching what I eat and I can say that the turn around has been amazing.
No more swelling, real good movement in both knees to the point where they feel really flexible, the pain has gone completely, well tell a lie, might have had a couple of days where they had slight pain in the knee but very bearable.
Sleeping much better, in fact I'm getting in bed and I've not had to bend my knees or compensate trying to alleviate the pain like before.
I'm much happier as my knees feel normal again whereas before I've been miserable as fuck as the pain literally dragged me down.
Touch wood I can keep the pain free days up and lead a normal life.
Wow, I'm so glad the supplements are working so well for you. I've been taking turmeric for the past few weeks and I think I can already feel a reduction in the stiffness in some of my joints.

I'm 35 and I don't care, I'm joining in with the grumbles!

Acquired a trapped nerve in my neck about a month ago. Painful and won’t go away. Thinking of cutting it off.
An old friend had surgery on her neck recently, vertebrae all over the place. Now held in place by plates and screws as they thought it was too dangerous to remove the tumour which may have caused some of the displacement. So think yourself lucky. X-ray image is mint. Tumour is benign.

I started taking them and after the first two weeks I felt in more pain than usual, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!
Then I reckon by week 4 or 5 I felt the difference, was black and white.

watching what I eat has helped me too, both for my knees and my health. Lost a little bit of weight so that's less strain on my knees plus drinking lots of water and keep hydrated keeps things ticking along nicely. Mind you I'm pissing like a racehorse because of it but not to worry :)

63 is great , everything hurts , to add insult to injury you get cameras up yer arse and down your throat !

Backside and stoma here as a step before I could have my bowel put back together. It was surreal as anything.

Which Tumeric vitamins have you been taking. Sounds just what I'm in need of for my knees.

I watch what I eat so I don't get any on my shirt but none of it is healthy. That's why I'm knackered.
