Brought that one on ourselves with the BT ad thread.

Re: so this agenda thing.

Just see bbc news in 60seconds.

"Southampton hold league leaders Chelsea whilst man utds title challenge is hampered as they are held to a 0-0 draw away to spurs "..

Didn't even give a mention to that side that is three points off top and seven points ahead of the 'title challenging' man Utd.

And if they had mentioned Manchester City had squandered a two goal lead to lowly Burnley would that have proved there is no agenda?

No even more of our precious fans would have been crying about that.

I wouldn't have thought twice about it as it would have been correct!. It just baffled me how the rags got a mention and we didn't yet they're much further off the pace than us.

Something like "the league leaders are held to a draw away to Southampton but man city fail to capitalize as Burnley fight back to earn a point after being two goals behind".

Blue Halli you probably would have thought that but I think you have probably been around this thread long enough to know others would have taken offence and used it as further 'evidence' of the agenda.

Fuck them. Let's stay under the radar while the turtle and Jose fight it out to take champions in January title off Liverpool. When we were 2-0 up Garth Crooks was trying to make it into a disaster for city that it wasn't 5 or 6 because of goal difference.

To be honest. I don't really class this as part of the agenda. I think its more to do with some fook-wit that felt it was vital the rags got a mention. It just baffled me.

Thinking about it. They prob thought they best mention the rag score as that's how most of them would have found out what the result was.

That is it a commercial decision. More people interested in United. No problem to me if this is the reason as we benefit from more press coverage than a lot of clubs also.
