Re: so this agenda thing.

Is it just me who thought it really odd that a newspaper would run an article based on the reaction of a fan forum to something?

You could fill a paper with the stuff on RAWK, the perceived slights and so on. That article about the BT ad was in itself utterly pathetic.

I can understand the frustration but I'm sure the exact same thing happened to aguero at Southampton a few weeks back

I don't recall the same headlines though and Robbie Savage claims not to remember it.

Clever from moanrinho get the press on side (not that they already are) how they are on the receiving end of poor decisions (and of course the only club) and a campaign against Chelsea..well come Thursday wouldn't surprise me to see.1)Chelsea getting a penalty or two.2)spurs getting fucked over by the ref, possible red card and stonewall penalty not given...

Re: so this agenda thing.

SEVEN players have already been sent off against Chelsea this season. I bet no other club has had that much help from the referees. I think four have been sent off against us (and four of ours sent off) and one was in the 7-0 over Wednesday when the match was already won.

I did have several and for quite a long time. You moved from the particular to the general in your observations which is why offered my comment. As always it is the weight the evidence that matters and the sheer volume of anti-City propaganda is simply undeniable.
No my comment was in a direct response to these words which I actually quoted:
'I think its more to do with some fook-wit that felt it was vital the rags got a mention. It just baffled me'.
Still waiting for this is a weight of evidence. Hopefully it will be better than the BT advert which sadly has left our fanbase exposed to ridicule for its sensitivities.
it may have been but nevertheless associated you with one of a familiar repertoire of failed attempts to excuse continuous planned media attacks on City on the grounds that it's OK if they are doing it for money. There is no excuse, it is a blatant attempt to denigrate the club by ignoring our achievements and try to stop us gaining new supporters at the expense of the cartel clubs, which is their current primary target audience.

No problem we all get things wrong occasionally. My position has been quite clear I think a number of journalists do not like City, the influx of money and that is reflected in their writing.

Others, like Martin Samuel sympathise with our position and that is also reflected in theirs. No agenda just journalists writing articles which reflect their views.

No one has still stated who is part of the agenda. Is it Sky with Mike Wedderburn the blue championing our corner and mocking UTD after the derby win? The Daily Fail with Martin Samuel continuously defending our position on FFP? The Mirror with Mullock the blue writing for them? The BBC who so positively reported on our academy? The independent who recently published an article, by Paul Scholes, on how our academy is outperforming Uniteds?

Re: so this agenda thing.

Sky Sports News "Goal of the Season so far", United goal, check, Chelsea goal, check, Arsenal goal, check, City goal....er...no.

Re: so this agenda thing.

No Silva (West Ham), No Aguero (take your pick) in those top goals.

Rag & Chelsea love in.

Finally a mention for Aguero from Carragher.

Oh yes, I remember those headlines, but they focus on the incident as a refereeing mistake.
