At the risk of sounding sensible and boring...
People complaining that we haven't signed this player, that player etc have their opinions (which I respect) and of course we all get excited by new signings flying through the door but just think for a moment about how many of these players are really really needed.
People talk about CM and what we're lacking, we have already got one in, possible more will follow, but we also have a huge amount of CMs opinion the squad already, I know he's not always performed but Nasri showed when he came back from injury at the tail end of the season what he can provide, so much so that he was over played too quickly and got a muscle injury. Delph ended the season abysmally but when we were challenging on all fronts he was getting plaudits for his performances, he got injured and never got his confidence back. Plus all our major issues could be something to do with Pellegrini sticking with a game plan that every team had worked out to counter. Fernando improved, Fernandinho was, imo, player of the season so it's not all doom and gloom in midfield.
The areas of concern are obviously full backs, cover for Vinnie and support for Aguero, but before we bin off Otemendi as a flop remember that Vidic was dogshit for the rags when he first came.
Players are already talking about the effect Pep has had in training, and I know they are probably saying this as a part of self preservation but it's the reason he was recruited and the reason he will attract others
We were poor at times last year but we were no where as shit as some would have you believe...
