Imagine the potential of this team in two or three years when Pep's developed them...

I can't believe the squad we're potentially building for the future. Unreal.

It looks good on potential. But I'm certain not all of them will be here in a few years. And we'llbuy additions too.

Add in denayer, sterling, Roberts, Manu Garcia, Brahim and zinchenko, our quality of the 'next big things' is unreal, surely it must engender quality soon.

Hopefully he'll find it harder to walk away and let someone else reap the benefit of a generation of players he helped develop.

Well if you look at his Barcelona team, that's exactly what he did. Messi 21, Pedro 20, Busquests 20, Pique 21, Dani Alves 24, Iniesta 24.

He developed them over 4 years and was happy to leave.

Thought it was because his friction with the Barcelona board which made him leave. Bayern Munich was also the same thing as well (eg. Kroos transfer). However, at City it seems everything has been in place for him to have his freedom. So I believe he'll stay longer.
