Chances are we'd clean up domestically and I'm sure the deal would pay for itself with shirt sales etc. .

Rumour has it that we are slightly disillusioned with the football shirt market , but reckon there are major untaped opportunities in gum shield sales.

Yes, so? A deal for Suarez is unlikely on all accounts and if we were to get him, it would be at the end of very protracted negotiations.
Where do you think the money for neymar and mess is new deal would come from,if they had no funds to finance nolito.you do realise who city would negotiate with is don't you ?
Probably done round PEPs mums kitchen table

I hate Suarez, cheating twat.
How many footballers don't cheat most appeal for throw in's corners and goal kicks knowing that they touched the ball last and the professional foul is cheating in my opinion the amount of wrestling in the box at corners is like watching world of sport on a Saturday afternoon

Well if they were to sell, surely selling Suarez would be a last resort? If they have the funds to complete deals for Denis Suarez and Umtiti, I doubt they would do so instead of keeping Luis Suarez. More than that, how much would an adequete replacement cost for Barca?

I don't really want Suarez, not just for the cuntish angle but opponents and some refs would inevitably target him and he could well be suspended too often. On the other hand that match at Anfield would be fucking epic...

This won't happen, not a chance would we spend that on another 29 year old. Unless we were looking at his signing as purely a 1/2 year impact, but doubt we would spend huge sums on a player who could drop off a cliff in a year or two pace wise.

United were gonna spend that last year on Ronaldo, two years Suarez's senior.

And wages far in excess.

We need to be a winning club again and he would reduce the margin for error.

He can play wide, in the hole, alongside Sergio/when he's injured.

I can see why he would have Pep thinking in this regard.

Sometimes football is about the here and now.

Suarez would be one of those signings. As someone else said, he's a definite upgrade on what we have. Not enough of our recent signings have been that way.

Kroos, if that's on, is also an upgrade and someone Guardiola knows... and vice versa.

A new (attacking) full back would be great too.

Even if these don't materialise, at least we're seemingly looking to address major issues with the squad.

I expect some of the incomings must require us to ship people out otherwise we'll get really shafted on sales, rather than just shafted.
