Think Bravo will be the last first team signing but just like last season I think top teams will expose us when Kolarov and Zab starting at fullback. Think we look stronger when Clichy and Sagna starting. Going forward Kolarov looked solid tonight but still gets exposed at the back too easy and thats going to be a problem against the top 4-5 teams in the prem and in CL.
Can't say I disagree. Zabs legs are gone and Kolarov has never had much pace.

If Yaya has been told he's not a regular first teamer this year I expect he will go. He can get more money in China and still actually play. His ego wont allow him to sit in the stands.

But the chinese transfermarket is closed already

China's not an option anymore right (window closed)? Maybe Russia if it's big money that he'd like.

With all the tv money if I was head of a promoted/lowend-PL team I'd be mad after Yaya. Have a baseline of workers trying to not concede gains you 1 point but having class (even at a walking pace) can get you odd 3 points. They are the points that move you up the table.

It'd just be whether I could afford the wages.

I think Yaya will stay, can't see any team willing to match his wages right now, but he can be an useful impact sub or starter in some games.

If we got reasonable prices for the outgoings we could get quite a chunk of this summer's spend back (and lower the wage bill)

Hart - £20-25m
Mangala £20m (likely loan with obligation)
Yaya - free (wages too high to get a fee outside of China - think he will stay)
Nasri £15-20m
Bony £15-20m

already sold:
Lejuene £1.2m
Fofana £3.8m
Dzeko £8m
Jovetic £13m (Jan)

Around £100m - give or take

Sure I read somewhere yesterday, that Yaya gets £11m loyalty payout if he sees out his contract?
If that's the case......he's staying IMO.
Could of been bullshit.

Think it was his wages between now and the end of the season - putting him on 220k a week which i doubt he is on without bonuses

We will get shut of all of them, it's easier when teams get a bit desperate as August progresses and seasons have started.

You don't have to sacrifice the ball winner though. He didn't at Bayern with Lahm.

Somewhere in the world is a player who can be the pivot and pass better than Fern.
We have that player Gundagun, he is pure class on the ball not many better than him. His pass & retrieve is pure quality, him with Kroos & Dino would be heaven.

Losing Yaya will cost us money and I suspect some of the others like Bony and Nasri may require pay offs to accept moves elsewhere - so we may be looking closer to £60 or £70m
