Sometimes I hate knowing so many Poms.
This is one of those times.

But nothing I can say that hasn't already been mentioned. A rubbish side totally outclassed by a very, very good one. For mine, England are easily the second best side in world cricket (after the Saffas).

Trying to stay up for as long as possible now so I can see as much of it as possible. Not really a cricket fan but the ashes are great.

Hopefully we can go on to the World Cup in good form and then take on Sri Lanka and India, we can't slip up like after 2005, we have to keep momentum now.

Very gracious in defeat - respect for that,mate.
Maybe a period of rebuilding will be no bad thing for Australia in the long run,as some of the old guard seem well past their sell-by date.
Beer looks to have a bit of potential,though your dearth of decent spinners knocking down selectors doors is a bit worrying,and Johnson is still far too wayward.
Anyway - what do you call an Australian who knows how to handle a bat?
