Bangles were/still are a top band. A big part of the Paisley Underground movement of The Dream Syndicate/Rain Parade/Long Ryders/REM/The Three O'Clock/Let's Active etc. Collaborated with many of those bands too.
Could all sing really well, and play their instruments too. Hoffs looks were the icing on the cake though ;-)

This collaboration with this lot, (who like The Church represented Australia in the P.U.) is a favourite:

Good heavens....here the hell is that from?
That's gonna keep me going for a few more months.
The song? It’s from “Ladies And Gentlemen... The Bangles!”, a compilation album with all their original demos and early singles before they were signed when they were a psych pop band.

Another good track here:

Absolutely fucking gorgeous.

Best looking woman in show business. I've been besotted with her for a very long time.
(Musically she was always besotted with John Lennon)

Voice has got better with age as many do ala Carrie Underwood , Linda Ronstadt etc when their tastes widen and their vocal range deepens.

looks and presence no need to say anything , no Karen Carpenter when it comes to vocal purity whose voice frequency and pitch was as close to a sine wave as you can get.

You would be under the Milky Way tonight if Hoff's knocked on your door.
