The battle for 4th place

I've just thought of something. A bit far-fetched I know but hear me out.

Imagine we lose tomorrow and they get a point on Tuesday. So we go into the last game level on points but we're ahead on GD. They're winning and we're drawing with just minutes to go so if it stays like that, they get top 4 at our expense. Then, with virtually the last kick of the match, Sergio scores a winner so we pip them to fourth place. A bit ridiculous and it'd never happen but you can dream can't you.

it would be much better if we won just one point more somewhere, then even draw tomorrow would be solid.

Three years ago, Chelsea were bringing in Maureen, we had Pellers and
Non of that is in for question, however, I firmly believe, think the worst, let that negative energy transfer to the team, and hey presto you get your wish. Just my humble opinion.

I usually agree, but this season it's definitely a case of fans being full of optimism, arriving in numbers with the new expansion, and the team performances have dragged the spirit down.
There's not a single City who wants a player to fail, or a formation to not work, but sometimes something just isn't working and needs a change. It would be a real shame if a lot of players bowed out of City on a sour note. Many of them have played their part over the years, and I only hope they can at least sign off by keeping us in the top 4. Not holding my breath though.

Probably none who actually drag their weary bones up and down the country (and sometimes abroad) to watch the lazy and badly coached cunts.

About sums it up. There's always the 'sense of entitlement' accusation to dodge, but the degree of underachievement this season has been spectacular far too often, and having traipsed to Klanfield, St Mary's, Carrow Road, White Hart Lane, Vicarage Road, Villa Park, and most recently the Bernabeu, to name but 7 away days, at huge expense to watch £10 million a year players literally walking around, I think your description of 'lazy and badly coached cnuts' is pretty much on the money.
This season's campaign has been the most badly managed (given the financial backing) since that dreary loser Frank Clark was in charge IMO. From the assemblage of a squad filled with physically and mentally weak players with an oft seen allergy to grafting, to some fatally flawed signings, to a poisonous complacency amongst some of our senior players, to a manager clearly unable to inspire his troops and blessed with all the tactical gumption of a sheep trying to outwit a wolf in a telephone booth, it's been a fucking car crash.
We've seen exactly the wrong team selections, tactics and formations, for exactly the wrong opponents again and again and again, we've seen defending as idiotic as I can ever remember from a City side, complete with an assortment of truly unspeakable individual gaffes, and Villa aside (and again taking resources into account) we've been consistently responsible for the most spineless and inept football seen in the PL this season. Liverpool (h), Sunderland (a), Newcastle (a), Stoke (a), Leicester (h), Liverpool (a), Spurs (a), Swansea (h), Villa (a), Southampton (a), United (a), there've been games galore when we've stunk the place out and posed no threat to the opposition whatsoever.

Pellegrini should have gone after the debacle at the Swamp last season, but we kept faith because of the Pep situation and now we're on the verge of reaping our reward. I called Thursday night football for us next season back in November and I see little reason to change that assessment now. Unless Ya Ya, Kun, Samir, Bony and Kola suddenly discover something other than one paced, disinterested lethargy in their respective tanks and actually decide to lead by example, unless Otamendi, Mangala and Delph desist from committing ritual defensive suicide in terms of where and how they surrender possession, and unless Sterling and KDB actually show a willingness to put a foot in, then Arsenal will have us on toast, it'll all be over and in all honesty it'll be a blessed release.
There've been high spots of course and there's certainly been mitigation in the shape of an unprecedented injury list, and if we beat the Arse tomorrow there's still every chance the rags might buckle at Upton Park. Anything other than a win though and I fear it will be curtains for us.

There is one thing for certain win, lose, draw, get murdered or whatever, I will still love City and all City fans, I have always said, City fans are the best, and, have the best sense of humour, never mind all this scousers have the best humour, nonsense spread by the dippers, us blues have, and always will have the best humour, and that's that!

Take it you are going to ban yourself for 7 days now. Out of order that.

This reminds me of players waving the imaginary yellow card. It's unseemly and unnecessary.

Tensions are high, frustrations are high - it's only natural that some stuff is going to be a bit over the top at times.

Let's hope the team do the business tomorrow and improve everyones mood a little!

No, it's a crazy idea. You should be ashamed of yourself.

But wait...just imagine the clock is reading 93:20...

Give it a year on here and you might change your mind on that one.

TBF to him he said it because I asked him, during mod duties, who he supported. He never really answered
