The Bbq thread.

Fired the BBQ up Friday and Saturday. Shittest rustiest £20 BBQ that's usually left out in the rain but has served me well.

Did a similar spread both nights, peri peri chicken thighs, jacket potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms w/cheese, sausages, homemade burgers, chicken & pepper kebab skewers, pork loin steaks & sirloin steak.

Out of interest what's everyone's record number of BBQ in one year?

I always try and surpass the previous year, going for 22 this year. 2 down already.

Thanks mcmanus.

Just goes to show what people can achieve when a few of them are passionate about something and think it's a good/fun idea.

The rig they made for this, is unbelievable.

Be sure to wear the right gear boys.

Beer pockets. Cracking idea from City.

Although his choice of beer leaves a lot to be desired.

A whole fucking bovine ? haha that is insane, haha a big fuck you to all you poncy twats who have your fillet or ribeye extra rare, roast that bastard cow (said the bishop to the actress).

Not sure st,blue, this year i am on my 14th bbq already so a good head start for me.
That said i have used almost 40kg of coal so need to ease up and wait for any good weather.

When i lived in Texas i used nothing else to cook my food with mate, even when it was raining it was hot as fuck so a little awning thing and bobs your mothers brother.

I'm enjoying this thread, I only have a gas bbq at the moment but probably use it 3 times a week. Just done some salmon fillets in teriyaki sauce tonight which came out nice. I've done beer can chicken a few times as well which always goes done well with everyone. I need to look at a charcoal bbq but surprisingly they don't seem that popular over here.
