Was only a few years ago we was singing Fergie touches boys so does David Moyes.

Some weird chants at times haha, don't ruin the Bernardo song with Charlton you sad ****s.

Spot on. I'm very much in the old timer category (!) however I join in with all the singing, as do many others around me at the Etihad. Always have, always will, and I can't remember a song that I haven't joined in with over the years, but I draw the line with this version. It's a shit line, has nothing whatsoever to do with Bernardo or City or our fans. As I said in my earlier post IMO it's offensive and embarrassing and I just don't see how anyone with any modicum of decency can defend the singing of it, no matter what. There are a couple of good alternative lines that could be used FFS.

We'll sort this once and for all on Sunday mate at Burnley, whether it's "on the piss" or something else. We might have a battle on drowning out the concourse singers but most of those can't be arsed singing when they get to their seats ;)

Like you, I thought it was 50-50 on Wednesday so I was surprised to hear that the Charlton reference came across more on TV.

100% this. I think the new song's fucking hilarious. Can't believe it's got its own thread - fuck me, City fans make inappropriate comments about United shock. Get a grip. It's a fucking football song that aims an immature, inappropriate, childish and thoughtless dig at Bobby fucking Charlton. Big. Fucking. Deal.

It is fucking stupid mate, our club is the one that has been riddled with nonces and have had to to start paying out compo to poor men who were abused in our youth setup.
