The Bernardo Silva Chant Has Been Ruined

I think when you get older you become more obviously grown up??but very hypocritical!! We or most sang about giggs being illegitimate, having aids etc!! We sang the Munich song!! and various others. Now I know it’s being attached onto the Bernardo song and I personally don’t sing it?? But 30 years ago I would have.and so would a lot of you older posters on here

As I said last night 'Scored a goal on Derby Dayyy' would be far better and stand the test of time.

3 acceptable versions for me:

1) 'Scored a goal on Derby Dayyyy' - Relevant to him and winding those fuckers up.

2) 'We're all going on the piss' - Not as relevant but better than the Charlton one.

3) 'We're all going to Wembley' - Will die out at certain points in the year. Can only really be sung in the build up actually going to wembley.

'We're not going to Madrid' is pointless as it would die out after this season.

No. 1 or 2 no problem, much better for Bernardo to hear as well.

Charlton lyrics aren’t great but most of us have sung much worse. If we are looking for lyrics which fit the Bernardo song, why not ‘he’s our Portuguese King’?

Don't think that is the point, people are so vexed as those songs are stand alone anti rag songs, where bernies is for him and attaching the BC peado bit drags it away from him and onto something different and unecessary.

Cannot find it now but a clip of his goal celebreation from portuguese tv have the comemtator shout "la grande Portuguese


As for BC part, we are already getting pelters from others as this is shefull considering the recemt relevations about out youth players being abused, who ever start this version amd those that continue to sing is embarras us as a fanbase and club.

Just need other fans to shout it down and tell them to fuck off or it will stick permametly
