I want to as I'm looking for a change. There's that one and the one above it.
However, the timing is not quite right for me.
A word of warning for anyone interested in a role on the railway, and especially 'Driver'.These vacancies are incredibly popular and competition is fierce, they only stay up for a very limited time, quite often being withdrawn early and without notice. If genuinely interested have an eyecatching application/covering letter and CV ready to go,and submit asap.I want to as I'm looking for a change. Perfect qualifications then.I want to as I'm looking for a change. There's that one and the one above it.

Considering a career change or new job. Can plaster and do general building works but no expert, nor have any qualifications. Spent the last 15yrs in the entertainment industry, working on shows & theatre get ins, sometimes installing systems and also worked on the sales side, purchasing, invoicing, quotes, dealing with couriers etc. Now that I've written this I realise how unqualified I am, apart from a handful of O levels. Plenty of experience yes, but not experienced enough. Sth London, Kent area. I'm 55 and still have no idea what I want to do. Not a big self upsell is it!
Many thanks Mr. Gibbon, really helpful adviceYou will have loads of transferable skills from your last line of work that will be useful in different roles. Try listing all the things you did in your last role, then try and pick out what skills you used in carrying out these tasks, then compare these against job listings to see where you are a good match. The links below give a bit more info & might help.
