The Smiths keep coming up against tough opposition. Seems a bit dodgy to me but in truth much as I like this Smiths song it's probably one of those that confirms the bias the uninformed have about what they represent. The Love song is just superb.

As much as I like The Smiths in my opinion Forever Changes is one of the greatest albums of all time and this is one of the standouts

It's a totally random draw i promise you, but yes Nina Simone, Bowie and Love have been tough oppositions.
can also confirm there isn't a Smiths/Morrisey track for a long time after this one.

Obscure? Mate, look at page one. Are you telling me you’ve not heard of the vast majority of these bands?Pop songs suggest popular.
Most of what has been served up to date is obscure and quite frankly shit.
Having said that, I only picked one song everyone knows, and I’m pretty sure no one has heard one of the songs I picked nor even of the band . . . but I’m more annoying than most or all.

As always, depends on the opposition. Who do I pick if Liverpool (Radiohead) is up against the rags (Dexy’s Midnight Runners)?And so it begins..
Love one of those bands i could not get into against one of my faves.
The love track is good though against an average Smiths song.
Love this time but if it was against there is a light as in the match before it would have been the Smiths.
