The Bluemoon Song Cup 2023

good work

Rob in the hot seat for time being.

hanging today and mrs having c section, be back soon. up the hammers!
Hope everything goes well for you mate and all the very best to you and the family! What a few days you're having! :)

No need to apologise mate I get the way it works.
So I went back as Rob had made the effort and I went with Amy. I like the Jam and Welller but this song was a tad dull.

Nice to see who the Arctics got their sound from, sorry mean influenced by:-)

I think you're right about those first 4 and as you say they'll be other huge names missing.

As for Woodstock* artists, think we've had Hendrix and that's it so far. I think The Who is a pretty solid shout and maybe a possibility of someone like Santana or Jeff Beck? This has just made me think about the fact I've never noticed any Deadheads on these threads!

(* assume you meant the original rather than the 99 train wreck!)
Cheers threespires how could I forget about the man whose favourite child brought it to an end.

Short term memory fading quickly with old age.

As for 99 yes off the stage at least was a tad inglorious to say the least.

I know Willie Nelson won't be a starter here and I know Collective Soul who also appeared in 94 won't get a guernsey either and I am a bit of a fan of Ed Roland so that definitely won't get a start.

Maybe Metallica another dual starter is a no show I am confident on.

Spread the news - it seems like Jam is more popular than wine in these parts.

The Jam (Down In The Tube Station at Midnight) 24 - 7 Amy Winehouse (Rehab)

Results of my watch so far so that it's easier for BH to track

Lana Del Rey (Salvatore) 10 - 26 Bruce Springsteen (Streets of Philadelphia) (Page 90)
The Jam (Down In The Tube Station at Midnight) 24 - 7 Amy Winehouse (Rehab) (Page 93)
