Dzeko would produce better performances if we played to his strengths i.e crosses in to the box eight yards out.
He's link up play had been decent of late even if his firt touch isn't always what it shoulod be. Kun is vgreed and always looking for his goal rather than what is the best option for the team, this isn't a problem when we are winning and it is what you want from your forwards but in tighter ganes sometime the good of the team is better than scoring yourself.
I can t agree with that. I mean it s one thing to say Dzeko should get more direct crosses, but on the other hand Dzeko has to do something to get those Balls. We don t ave the best crosses worldwide, but Dzeko doesn t allways makes himselfs avaiable.
All he needs to play well, nd i mean not only score goals or assist, i mean get involved, contribute nd add hes own actions (coz he can, he proved it), is to have a structured gameplan behind hin. This is most likely strange, but i still don t belive that the tactical setup is realy the best one. Other Topteams ave the working 6 (4defenders, 2holding midfielders) in their team at least for 3,4 years which of course let them learn each others style of play. That s a big point at all this, when you have a team which is working then it gets much easy to ave an Striker which is playing well. By a team working i mean the holding the structure of the gameplay up while every player is holding hes position. That s were we got a problem, i think the offence doesn t ave declared positions, or at least the midfields ain t holding them right. That s why:
1) Fullbacks don t get involved that much, even tho they had the abilitys.
2) Midfielders don t get into the clear position, get affected if.
3) The Team doesn t win a big game, when a key Player has bad day.
