The Boxing thread

Who the fuck at Sky / Eddie Hearn think that Dillian Whyte v Del Chisora is a PPV card. Fuck me Sky and some of the uk shows now are all ppv. You got Bellew fight next week against Usyk now i can see why thats PPV as it is a PPV fight for me Usyk the best cruiserweight in the world against Bellew i can see why it is. As for Whyte next fight on PPV it is competing with the Frampton v Warrington fight so will the casual fans tune in to whyte or watch a proper world title fight. The Whyte card needs a few title fights on it maybe Mundo Smith fighting on it.

Hearn reckons they'll do 4 x the number of ppv sales than the Frampton fight. To be fair the last fight was a cracker and the undercard will be stacked. I'll be watching both.

Usyk says he’s a City fan as he’s friends with Zinchenko. Good on him.

He’s going to outclass the delusional horribly overmatched bellew - should be an enjoyable fight

Have you seen the state of the undercard this weekend? £20 and to make your money back you would need to stake £160 on Usyk at 1/8. Ridiculous.

Hearn you to stack the undercard of PPV shows with proper 50/50 match ups. It made it easier to stump up when the main event wasn't really PPV worthy.

He's not done that for a long time now.

I hope this and his forthcoming events flop commercially so he's forced to rethink the model.

I watched the press conference earlier and i was impressed by Bellew. He was very respectful of his opponent and he displayed both humility and class, traits i previously hadn't associated with him.

I keep changing my mind about him. Used to think he was a complete tit but has shown moments of being reasonably inoffensive.
