Wake me up when he fights someone approaching world class.

Some people are hard to please at times. GGG is the 1 fighter most of main men in middleweight division is avoiding. I look at Mat Macklin I say fair balls for going toe to toe with GGG he is a brilliant fighter the punches he was throwing and landing with was brilliant. He wants the so called big fights but who will fight against the most dangerous fighter in boxing. Peter Quillin and Cotto will avoid him. GGG says he wants to unify the division and I wouldnt be shocked if he does.
If he moves up to Super Middleweight then there is a fight with either Froch , Chavez Jnr or Andre Ward and to be honest all 3 would sell even the Ward fight would be the most difficult but I wouldnt be shocked if GGG blew them all away. Froch wants Chavez Jnr or he is retiring so a GGG fight with Froch will sadly not happen.

On the undercard Nicholas Walters will be the main man in the division. I rate Lee Selby but Walters is the guy who will dominate this division for years to come. Get him in the ring with Vasyl Lomachenko and you will see who the best featherweight is in the division.

GGG lands a punch and whereas a lot of boxers ko someone clean out or catch them off-guard, he seems to genuinely hurt them due to the knuckle part of his glove landing flush. Macklin was in absolute agony from that body punch(as good as anything Hatton could throw) and De Geale who was up before the 10 count was asked by the ref if he wanted to continue and he said "No", then last night Rubio was whacked on the forehead and he was writhing like someone has hit him with a hammer?!!

He should give up the weight and move up - his chin and stamina looks good enough. I think the power would shift enough for him to do well and get the elite on their toes. He's 32 so current champs know they can avoid him for 48 months and then he'll have faded.

He might be 32 but he hasnt been in many wars so he could go for another couple of years before he gets slower or whatever or shows signs of aging in the ring.

Speaking of Macklin I will be going to his fight in Dublin the card has some really good grudge fights on it for Irish titles. And if you get to see the press conforence for it there is some real hate between the fighters involved. Ian Tims v Michael Sweeney and Anthony Fitzgerald v Spike O Sullivan both of these fights will be 1s to look at as both fights the fighters fighting hate each other. The other Hyland v Simpson should be a okay fight think Hyland will have too much for Simpson. Cant wait to see Kal Yafai and John Joe Nevin and hopefully Jason Quigley too it should be a great night for Irish boxing and live on Sky too.

Spike was the one fighter I thought would be perfect for Chris Eubank Jr. But apparently Chris swerved him!!

Spike went the distance with Billy Joe Saunders and was competitive even if the cards didnt say so the scoring was big to BJS I argee he won the fight but it wasnt a shut out. Chris Eubank Jnr not too sure about him taking a big fight if he wins it then fair play to him a big risk fight for Eubank Jnr to take fair play to the lad if he has a chin like his old man then he has every chance.

yeah that am should be given a life ban from all boxing. Also his opponent should of stopped him after 1 punch to the ref. Why he ran out of the ring I would never know.

As for the weekend fights I will watch the Sky show love Michael Katsidis and his fights are always worth a look also Luke Campbell looks a very good talent think he can go far.

See Scott Quigg is avoiding Kid Galahad no fight for his fight and Kid Galahad offered to fight him but the Hearn and Gallagher have ruled out a fight with Kid. The Kid team want the fight in December but Quigg is fighting a no mark in November 22 I heard he was offered £400000 for the fight as well but he wont be doing that fight until next year same old Quigg avoiding fights it seems to me that his team have no fate in him to throw him in with a real top fighter or a dangerous fighter.

Embarrassing that Eddie and sky are trying to flog November 22nd as PPV. Theyve now added Groves vs Douglin? never even heard of him 20 fights 17 (10ko) 3 losses. Hopefully the lowest PPV numbers sky ever see

Well I dont buy PPVs but you got 7 fights on the same night I will find a link and watch it online if I am about. Saying that the card isnt too bad. 1 world title fight with Jamie McDonald and 1 paper World Title fight on with Scot Quigg. Also Anthony Joshua is worth a look. He needs a test but my god so far so good with that lad.
Then the Super Middleweight fights. De Gale , Groves and Callum Smith its a bright move from Hearn to get all 3 on the same card you could well see all 3 fighting each other over the years this division is the best division in the UK so tight between all 4 if you include the aging Carl Froch as well. I think with these and Paul Smith too as well there could well be many fights made and if any of them win a World title too it could get back to the days of Benn , Eubank and Collins with top class fights with major titles on the line. Also who knows if Billy Joe Saunders might even move up a weight to be included too. I think they are trying to build the next big fight.
As for the main event well they hate each other a real grudge match. I am going for Cleverly to KO the cocky Bellew this time. Bellew thinks he is unbreakable in this weight division too confident and come fight night he will be too pumped up and emotionally involved in the build up and will be caught out by Cleverly.

His team said he could move down to 154. Do it and fight Mayweather/Lara/Trout/Bradley

Or stay where he is and fight Canelo/Martinez.

Or move up and fight Ward/Chavez Jr/Kessler/Froch, even Groves or DeGale.

Any of those dozen or so names would be a massive step up from the cannon fodder he's currently wasting everyone's time on.

But hey, let's all look forward to his next fight, probably against Sakio Bika or summat.

Come on Conor he is the most entertaining fighter out there at the moment. He has named who he wants next its up to the money men to make it happen. I dont know what you want him to do. A massive step up to fight DeGale are you fucking kidding me??? I cant see him dropping down weight and I cant see many of the named wanting to go toe to toe with him. Money will fight whoever he decides I just think a GGG fight would be amazing but I cant see it ever happening too strong and powerful for Money.
Fights at Super Middleweight makes more sense. He has said he would fight Cotto or Saul Alvarez too and he has mentioned names in other weight divisions too. I can see him wanting to unify the division I understand why he would want to do it and could do it within a year if all the champions were to face off with him. Any way thats boxing for you all about opinions.

See Amir Khan v Devon Alexander difficult fight to call for me think it will be close. Khan fucks up no fight with Money.

Who has GGG fought that would beat DeGale?

Daniel Geale?

Who has GGG fought that would beat DeGale?

Daniel Geale?

Mat Macklin and Daniel Geale were very impressive showing. I think both would beat DeGale. I think with GGG he is being avoided but it wont last forever. He is getting some great following in the US. Hearing from fighters who have been in with he hits and you stay hit. Look at who is avoiding him in the division Martin Murray was offered the fight but he refused it. Felix Sturm has been avoiding GGG for years. Then in the US you got Peter Quillin is ducking everyone. Sergio Marthinez is finished after the Cotto defeat and GGG has called out Cotto but rumours Cotto too doesnt want the fight.
Who has James Degale beaten to even put him up there with GGG??? His hardest fight and he got beaten by George Groves. A win against Paul Smith is probally his highlight win. I aint seen DeGale fighting a really hard fight for a long time. He isnt up there for me in the Super Middleweights I think he is the level below. DeGale against all World Champions will loose the fight in my opinion.

I just think with GGG he could well be fighting again by the end of the year you know all these fights he is taking is to build up his following in the US the big fights come in 2015 for GGG. I cant wait to see them. They will be calling for Cotto to be made and other fights he is just a amazing talent to me and seeing him fight and his style of fighting aka Mexican style is great to see and I always love to watching exciting fighters.

Over the years we had Naz who was exciting to watch even Joe Calzaghe was exciting to watch its there style of fighting and the Mexican fighters too just its boxing the way it should be. Technical with power and speed a deadly combination not many fighters have that.

Wondering if anyone can help me here, contemplating going to Vegas for the Khan vs Alexander fight and was just wondering how much a decent ticket would cost? Would they be on sites such as ticket master?

Ticketmaster would get you tickets you would think. I would guess if there is a Amir Khan fan club they might be able to get tickets too if it is a offical 1. Dont forget unlike in the UK the venues wont be as big in Vegas so its a lottery. I am guessing there is some blues who went over to see Hatton fighting in the US I would of guessed they would be of greater help to you.
