It was a very Big Loss last night for AJ with the next 12 months looking good for heavyweights and big fight nights

Usyk controls all the cards and the Tyson Fury rematch will open the door for 2025, Unless a Usyk defeat and a trilogy fight with Fury that would be in the Usyk contract for 2025, AJ needed to win last night vs Daniel Dubois and hold the IBF belt to have a chance in 2025, But now Daniel Dubois jumps to the top of the list and fights Usyk or Tyson in 2025.

Forget a rematch with AJ and Daniel Dubois because Daniel is miles ahead with age on his side,

But if it’s in the contract and Joshua wants it unfortunately we will have to go through all this again like AJ and Usyk

Exactly. 99% AJ will enforce the rematch clause.
You can't blame him or Hearn for that. Beating Dubois is his only route back to the top of the HW division. He can't afford another year of building him up against MMA fighters and Helenius level competition. He is 35. Either he rematches for what would be another big money fight or he retires. Him an Fury fighting now is nowhere near the biggest HW fight, which conceivably 4 years ago it was. On top of that getting AJ and Fury to fight each other/dangerous opposition is never a quick thing. As for Dubois, from a financial point of view there are few fights that carry the reward/risk factor as that. He will earn a fortune for fighting a fighter he dominated from first to last bell. Usyk or Fury will not be free until the later half of next year and if Fury wins then not even 2025 as they will have a trilogy. An AJ rematch early 2025 might just be Dubois best option.

Why should he though? it's his life and his choice, find it more respectable for any sports man to do all they can to compete at the highest level.
Of course it’s up to him. But it’s clear he’s way down the pecking order now with no way back. If he wants to revert to being a second division boxer he can’t expect anyone to be that interested.
