As you know, amateur and pro boxing are very different disciplines and it takes time to adapt from one to the other. Cameron has a deep resume despite not having had his hand raised in many of his most challenging fights he's a tough and brave scrapper and the wrong match for Whittaker at this stage of his career.I think he probably would have lost, yes. He is 27, so not a kid, and though he doesn't have a lot of pro-experience, you would expect a serious talent to find a way past a very solid pro. It is hard to countenance the prospect of a fighter choosing a way out, but this whole persona is based on being so superior to others out there that they cannot even land a shot. It wasn't happening in that way so people will speculate, as I do.

Some would say that's rich coming from City fans but while it's great to get the dream matchups like Beterbiev/Bivol and Usyk/Fury they're often played out in front of half empty arenas with little atmosphere. Can you imagine how much better these fights would be so much better at MSG or Co op Arena?
Plus such as Canelo, Tank and Inoue are currently missing from the action so there is life outside the Riyadh Season.
Having said that such as Jack Massey, Liam Cameron and Nick Ball have benefitted greatly from appearing on their cards.
Can you imagine the atmosphere in say Wembley Arena for a fight between Chisora and Johnny Fisher? In the grand scheme of things they're nobodies but the thirst for domestic beef type fights is huge.Have to agree with all that.
The atmosphere is Saudi for Boxing is absolutely bobbins, I'd say that's one side to it that the fighters have to really dislike.
The fights in the UK the atmosphere is fabulous, On the flip side of that, I go to numerous boxing events around the UK and there's all pissed up dickheads that have no interest in Boxing and look for their own fight in the crowd.
It's strange though, Personally I think there's thousands of people that go to boxing that aren't necessarily boxing fans that just keep an eye on it, For instance Joshua v Fury is the fight everyone wants to see, Where as I'm more interested in Usyk v Fury, It makes for a far better fight in my opinion.
Crawford v Spence last July was a fight I was absolutely buzzing for yet you wouldn't even think the fight was happening, Absolutely no media in the UK talking about one of the best fights for a long time.
As you said it's getting dream match ups in Saudi, The undercards have improved dramatically also.

Me personally I'd love all the fights back in the UK, Over in Saudi they remind me very similar to Covid Boxing atmosphere wise and it takes the buzz away from the fight.
I can understand why Boxers are going though as it's a massive payday for them, A payday in which they deserve because what the sport involves. Fighting on Saudi will set them up for life and that's including their own kids and grandkids and that's what it's all about.
He looked good in patches but why not keep his hands up ? It’s good enough for Bivol and Beterbiev and Usyk - sooner or later it’ll catch up with him. Decent win but Ohara was shot and in a refreshingly frank post fight interview he pretty much said so himself.Adam Azim looked absolute quality last night.
