Not seen it yet myself but from what I've read the general opinion seems to be that Broner was lucky to get the nod last night.

For the supposed heir to the throne, that's really poor. I mean, Paulie?

I had Broner winning by a few rounds. It was far more fun watching all the press conferences.

Paulie's a top level operator even though he's past his best so credit to Broner for stepping up 2 weights and going to his backyard and dealing with him pretty efficiently.

If Broner's to be believed when he says he'll let the fans pick his next fight then let's hope they pick Khan, Matthyse or maybe Thurman.

Why the fuck does he act like such a **** though

Watched it today, thought Broner nicked it by a round or so. The interview post fight was hilarious. Talks some right shit though Broner, going on about being the only guy his age with a record like he has. Isn't Canelo the same age with about 20 more wins and a better resume?

I imagine Matthyse would be the fans choice to fight Broner next. But they'll make an excuse to get out of it, probably say that it wasn't possible because of Matthyse already fighting Garcia.

Hearing some shouts from Tyson Fury about a David Haye fight who offered Fury a 50 - 50 split and supposedly Fury is looking for a 80-20 split in his favour the mad fucker lol.

This weekend a double header on Sky with Rees v Crolla on early then onto the Macklin v Golovikin fight from the US later that night it has the chances of being a great night. Golovikin is the real deal and his first fight in the US and he will want to put on a show. Yet to be tested and has a great ko record. Macklin will be doing well to get this to the score cards. Would love Macklin to win it but this guy has the potential to do something big in the next few years.

anyone any idea how the Daniel Geale vs Barker fight will go,i was talking to a lad who used to train at the Repton gym in London and seemed like he knew what he was talking about and told me to put a few quid on Geale winning on points, can't seem to get any odds on oddschecker on Geale to win on points, the kid reckoned neither of them were big hitters and out of the two thought Geale to be the better boxer

To be honest Barker is a bit injury prone over the years if he is fully fit I think he has a great chance. Geale is the weakest of the champions out there. You compare the fight Macklin has this weekend with the banger Gennady Golovkin for a World title this fight for Barker is winable. I think Golovkin could well get the better of Marthinez if they were to fight each other. Geale is a good boxer but hasnt KO'd anyone since 2010 which is mad. This is Geale first time fighting in the US too so for a World champion he has to show his class. I think Barker is the heavier puncher but a big question on him landing.

Also nice to see Ricky Hatton has finally got a TV Deal with Boxnation so the remainer of his fighters will be fighting on Boxnation. It seems there is still life left in Warren who I think has got some investment in Boxnation as well.

i'm sure Scott quigg is fighting for Frank Warrens lot from now on and not Ricky's mob, maybe a deal was done involving the Tv deal???

Wow last night Macklin got destroyed by Golovkin inside 3 rounds. Golovikin was just way too classy and way too good for Macklin. The body shot that won the fight was just amazing took him out and had him down on the canvas for a good minute. Macklin is durable but with the way Golovkin destroyed him it makes me wonder just how far he can go and who will fight him next. Love to see him in with Marthinez but after what he did last night Marthinez might look for a easier fight again.

As for Quigg a decent win but he needs to fight a real banger. Need him and Frampton. Not too sure if Quigg will go in with Frampton for a while. Its clear Quigg needs to be tested by a bigger puncher. A world title fight around the corner. He needs to be tested big time. Get him in there with even Kiko Marthinez next if they can get a fight before he fights for a world title. Also again the Frampton fight was offered and rejected by the Quigg team. I know both are on different stations just pisses you off that a fight which could well be a big seller may well never get the green light due to tv deals the bastards.

Was a good win for Quigg, the brazil lad seemed a bit out of shape though, i thought his record flattered him a bit.

Wow no one will want to fight GGG now, I 'd love to see him in with Chavez Jnr the Martinez (if he's still boxing).

“I want to fight as soon as possible, any top fighter, any champion, any belt holder, anywhere.’’ GGG
