The Boxing thread

The rematch is going to be interesting.

Do you think Wilder will get used to Tysons herky-Jerk and be able to find him easier?

Wilder is an akward customer for any boxer. He only has to find you once and thats it.

Love watching great matches can anybody recommend some?
I have seen quite a few so the slightly esoteric would be appreciated

Fury will be fitter and sharper, but he's still playing Russian roulette with Wilders power for 12 rounds.

Ever seen Ayers and Rigby? a truly great match

only 2 people that want a rematch and that is showtime Shelly Finkel and frank warren BT sport ???? £19.99 a pop and all the advertising they can slot in for 4 hours

only fools will pay again for another fix (once bitten twice shy) clearly nobody was ever going to win the first fight ??? even fury going around saying he won the fight and wilder saying the 10 count was slow, but for me anyway both was playing the game and knew the score and the script and it was on the cards from the first round, you could see both boxers holding back and playing each other knowing they was under orders, this had to happen for boxing and TV boxing in the USA they need a heavy weight champion and showtime had nowhere to go if wilder lost all the power in making the big fights would have gone and AJ and eddie hearn and sky calling the shots and a bigger percentage of the takings

fury was still not in good shape for a heavy weight not for me anyway, and you can not lose 10 stone in 10 months and turn it back into muscle, so fury had no power and a knockout punch to hurt wilder so he just banked on the jab and move and make wilder swing and miss so fury knew it was always going to the judges cards, wilder knew fury was not in shape and went easy on the build up in the camp knowing fury could not punch hard and just needed to dance with fury for 12 rounds and get a rematch

its stinks of a right cooked up showdown ?? all 3 boxers want the best money for the fights and if they can spread it around for 3 years then they will and fury, wilder, and AJ will have to fight each other at least twice with the rematch clause written into the contracts, so if people are willing to pay £19.99 for nothing more than a WWE style triple threat match good luck to you all

I'd liked to of seen either fight AJ next. Still another great rematch. If they fight at the swamp, showcase needs to understand it has its own time zone.
