The Boxing thread

That was somewhat dull. The commentary team acted as if Canelo was outstanding for most of the fight - he wasn't, but GGG did so little in the early rounds that it was barely possible for him to win.
 
Triple g was never going to win this fight and truth be told he probably wanted the big pay day and rightly so . That first fight will go down in history as a bad night for boxing showing the level of corruption in the sport especially surrounding canelo that is why in my eyes he will be one of the greats because too many of his fights have been either hand picked in vegas or waiting for the right time I mean let’s not forget when canelo beat cotto to hold the middleweight that was the time to fight triple g who was calling for him but he let Father Time catch up with golovkin and stil had a toe to toe over 36 rounds with an ageing fighter. Also why every close has to to go to vegas . My only concern with golovkin was that he never really let his hands go like we know he can n all three matches . As for next triple g is still middleweight champion but I’d like to see him retired and as for canelo he will go against Bivol Again but they need that fight away from vegas .

With same same judges 3G would have romped the first two. Over the hill now though, just a money maker rather than a contest.
 
The 3 fights should have been ggg by at least 4 rounds, draw (any result you like), canelo by at least 4 rounds.
 
Joyce and Parker might be the worst most unconvincing trash talkers I’ve ever seen :)
