The Boxing thread

I think he has won it comfortably but by Jesus I would be taking a few more warm up fights before calling out Wilder or Fury.

Needs to find his confidence and aggression again.

Just don’t think that killer instinct is in his character
Think Ruiz one was his last exciting fight

Eddie Hearn must be having an Aprils fool joke mentioning Wilder and Fury.

I reckon Dylian Whyte could stop Joshua.
There’s nothing in a fight with Joshua for Tyson. Zero Risk-reward for it to be a consideration. Hearn is desperate, very desperate to squeeze the last pound out of his product puppet Before he’s put on the scrap heap. Laughable.

Aj is absolutely terrified of getting hit, awful for a contender, wilder fury Joyce all beat him. Unless it was a deliberate poor performance to encourage fury to get it on. Reffed by a paid man to get him all the advantages in the "fight" awful, if that's what all that time and training has done for him, he's finished

For Joshua's sake I'd actually hate to see him get in a ring with Wilder or Fury, Whatever sense he has at the minute which is fuck all he will have nothing by the time either of those fighters are finished with him.

His usual shit tonight looking for advice in the corner whilst the fight is on,' He literally had to be told what to do step by step. Nothing comes natural to him.

I've never seen anything like him for lack of head movement and shit footwork.

Franklin was a joke also, Wasn't brave enough to let his hands go. The over hand right was on every single time.

I totally agree, infact I’d go as far as to say it would be dangerous for Joshua to engage with wilder or fury.

His boxing brain is two seconds too slow and he fights like he’s thinking about it too hard and forgets to move his head and feet! And his aggression is non existent.

He’d be hit before he knew what to do next. By either wilder or Fury he’d be knocked out.

It's a strange one. He has gone very gun shy. I don't remember this happening to any other major fighter, it is the equivalent of the yips in a golfer. Even in the Usyk fights, especially the first one, he was terrified about getting hit with that left, an when it did hit the legs wobbled. I do wonder if he has lost confidence in his chin or just mentally not prepared to risk another KO.

Until he learns to let his hands go again he is going to struggle. Even Joyce I would fancy to wear him down and hurt him. Amazing to think this is the same boxer who had a firefight with Vlad an got up off the canvas to KO him.

I doubt he'll ever get a chance at another elite fight again. He'll end up as a journeyman or he'll retire
He will. The reality is he is a massive cash cow and at the moment very vulnerable. In my opinion Fury would rather him than Usyk any day of the week. Likewise if I was Wilder I would be begging my team to get a fight with him.

Massive name, massive money and a guy who looks very beatable right now.
