Clearly a Mayweather win. It was in many ways a clinic on how to score points and pick off the opponent. He has to be one of the best counter punchers and defensive fighters of all time and I rate him as one of the most skilled of all time.
Pacquiao is also a great fighter and much celebrated. Mayweather is not liked but anybody with a clear mind can at least appreciate his gifts as a boxer.
Great fight and an end to this saga. Maybe a rematch will ensue.

117-111 Mayweather for me, completely outclassed Pacquiao.
Mayweather sums up everything wrong with boxing, but he's used it to his advantage perfectly, just a step above tactically.

Hagler v Hearns was a great fight. Leonard V Duran was a great fight. This may have been a brilliant technical display by Mayweather, but it was far from a great fight.
More action in a game of chess.

Rubbish spectacle but I suppose the art of boxing is to hit and not be hit. Mayweather, as much as I hate him, is just too good at the not being hit part. Once he has that, he only needs the odd scoring punch. Only way Pacquiao was gonna win was if he knocked him out before round 4. Mayweather started so much better, it was pretty much over then

Exactly - Yawnweather should be his name.
It is definitely on for a rematch cos it will generate another massive pay check, one of the reasons why boxing has lost its appeal is because the guy plays for the money and does not go for the knockout
Wish Manny sparked him out cos that is what yawnweather deserves.
