Well done to Quigg winning in 2. Shocked at that didnt see the fight yet but shocked that Kiko got caught out.
As for Carl Frampton. It seemed to me he got caught cold. Whoever said Carl doesnt hit hard well i call bullshit. This is why Carl is so good and why I highly rated him from day 1. The Mexican lad had a height and reach advantage over Carl yet Carl was peppering with the jab all night after the nightmare first round caught cold maybe. After the Knock downs no wonder Carl boxed rather than go toe to toe with the lad.
At the end of the fight you could see how down Carl was that was his worst fight since he turned pro for me. Saying that he had weight issues for the fight and had to take off so much in the last week is shocking. A bad thing as Carl is generally on the button and never has weight problems. Him saying that they may well look at moving up to featherweight after the fight might be a bit pre mature.I think its a bargaining ploy he looked beatable tonight while now his rivals in the weight class Quigg and Santa Cruz might think they will have a chance. Think Frampton v either will happen next then Carl v Rigo before he moves up but if cutting the weight is getting too much for Carl then a move up might be good and he could well get a good few fights at featherweight against the world champions up there. Carls going to be huge in the US the fans will love him if he sticks out there.
