Wait until you hear his latest rant worsleyweb. Embarrassing doesn't begin to describe it.

A pity this guy wasn't around in the heavyweight golden age of Ali, Frazier, Norton, Foreman and Holmes. He'd be earning £10 a fight in a travelling fair.
 
I sat down to watch Smith v Fielding last night and cracked open a beer with some dry roasted peanuts next to me. I'd literally had one sip and the fight was over. I admire the clinical win but had fancied some entertainment too...
 
I thought the Smith v Rocky fight would of went longer. Think Rocky getting caught early should of seen out the round not go looking to go toe to toe with Smith as he got caught cold tonight and Smith got rid as soon as he smelt the blood good finish by SMith. I still think Rocky can go far same with Smith it opens huge fights with Martin Murray , George Groves and James DeGale for Rocky get him in with Paul Smith and I think that be a good fight and Rocky to get the better of the older SMith brother. The Cardle fight I missed will watch it later.

Did you see the Cardle fight last night?
You appear to know more about boxing than me. Not hard I know.
Thought it was a fucking disgraceful decision but the 2 boxing fans I've asked both said it was the correct choice as Dodds legs went from him and he couldn't defend his face.
 
The ref in Cardle v Dodd should have given a count. This would have given himself a few seconds to judge whether Dodd was fit to continue. If he waved it off after the count, fine, he has to be sure of the lads safety. But to just jump in without taking a proper look at him seemed a bit premature. It certainly wasn't a disgraceful stoppage though
 
Cardle v Dodd was a good fight. Dodd done everything for 11 rounds to win that fight. As for the 12th round Cardle went all out for the stoppage and got it. There were times Cardle was hitting Dodd non stop and the ref was taking a close look at him. Then the knockdown happened. The ref stopping it twas a bit premature but I seen fighters get stopped before Dodd went down for not throwing back and defending themselves. IF that fight was anywhere else apart from Liverpool were Dodd is from there wouldnt of been as much uproar over the decision. Its a soft decision but you have defend yourself at all times.

It nice to hear Cardle will offer him a immediate rematch which is good as Dodd deserves that so that will happen within the next few months. I think it will be the same result as last night and a Cardle win. There will be another close fight again just think Cardle wont take Dodd lightly next time out.
 
Great that a local lad is getting a world title shot but the Jimmy Kelly vs Liam Smith fight is an absolute shambles in my opinion. At least the Shane Mosley fight was a big name for Liam to sell himself against, Kelly whilst a talent is a total novice and doesnt have any decent scalps on his record, far too soon for a world title fight.

I understand Liam wanting a payday and Frank wanting to fill the card with names but if you cant get a worthwhile opponent, dont bother.
 
Sky taking the piss, Joshua v whyte fight pay per view. 2 ppv's in a fortnight. Was going to treat myself but don't want to give sky the £'s so will be using old faithful, shadys blog
 
Its a bad move. AJ may well be a PPV star in years to come but not yet. Its a joke that they are going this route with AJ. His first meaningful fight. On the undercard. Chris Eubank Jnr v Spike O Sullivan is a good fight to have it too. They need to stack the card I hear Paulie Malinagi could be fighting on it too.

Also they are tempting fate as Fury v Klitschko will be a bore fest and this card on the back of it too on PPV they will bomb out. Also early next year we got Frampton V Quigg on PPV too. Too much will be too bad for Sky.
 
Lee v Saunders doesn't seem to be selling. They're plugging tickets left, right and centre. It's a huge fight. Perhaps Terry Flanagan withdrawing didn't help as he's one of us but it's potentially still one of the bouts of the year. 100% behind Lee as Saunders is a gobshite.

Shame that fight aint over here in Ireland as what they were putting together would of sold out that fight with Lee v Saunders and Katie Taylor on the original bill but moving the fight from Ireland is a huge fuck up. They could of stacked the cards with local fights. Get Paul Butler v Jamie Conlon on as a chief support it would of be a sell out.
Warren is unlucky he is losing some good fighters. Ryan Burnett was a class act now with Matchroom. Only a matter of time Turbo signs with Matchroom too for the big domestic fights were he will make a lot of money.
 
Going to go to the arena after the game tomo and watch Crolla. Will probably be about 8 by the time I get across from city. Are there any other good fights on the undercard?

I wouldnt say that 2 good young fighters on the undercard. Charlie Edwards looks decent but the level at flyweight aint that great.
Then you get to watch Ryan Burnett against Jason Booth now Ryan is a brilliant talent he is a potential World Champion from Belfast seen him in action in Dublin a few months ago and he got straight down to work and blew out the guy he was fighting in 2 rounds. Fighting Booth is a good test and I wouldnt be shocked to see him getting the win by stoppage he is the most talented boxer from Ireland I have seen since Carl Frampton the fighters up in Belfast are going to go boom and more and more will be fighting in big fights soon Belfast is going to be the heart beat of Boxing in Ireland and UK for some time there that talented also with some ams turning pro after Rio too its the place to be.

I think Crolla gets beaten by Perez tomorrow night just think he missed his chance in the last fight. Dont think Perez will under estimate him like the last fight. Good luck to Martin Murray who fights Abraham in Germany tomorrow night I think he has a better chance of winning the world title and tomorrow i think he will do it.

Fair enough mate, I was perhaps going by recognizable names.

Think Crolla will go out all guns blazing and that will be his downfall. Perez in 8.
