Get rid.
Much like leaving the EU wasn’t the answer to everyone’s issues, getting rid won’t have any positive impact on your life either.
But can you imagine what could be done with the £1.20 each person could save a year ?
;-O

That might be the case but is there a net benefit of having them? If they don't offer anything positive at all, why not get rid?
They do benefit.
Taxpayer ripoff or bargain? The cost of the British royal family
Critics of the monarchy say it is outdated and a waste of money, but supporters argue it more than pays its way.www.aljazeera.com
While the royal family’s effect on the economy is difficult to quantify, it is widely thought to be considerable.
Brand Finance, which bills itself as the world’s leading brand valuation consultancy, estimated that the royals contributed 1.77 billion pounds ($1.95bn) to the UK economy in 2017 through a combination of the Crown Estate’s revenues and indirect benefits for tourism, trade, media and the arts.
Not sure how that’s a relevant bit of Whataboutery.I wonder how much megz and haz bring to the Californian economy?
