I think she enjoyed the program and saw some similarities. It's that Windsor effect that everyone is talking about. This is a random question, does your missus like watching the Vicar Of Dibley?
I am asking because it's my wifes favourite program ;)

Rev is far more accurate.
That’s done now.Perchance the mods could get a poll going? Royalist/Republican/Indifferent?
Gauging the tone of the forum I think it could be interesting.
I think “indifferent” probably covers that. How about, yes, but I don’t care if they don’t?
I’m not making an argument for a republic. We have one, thank you very much. You are making an argument for a republic, sectarianism is a natural progression when one religion deviates from another one, they have it in Islam and Judaism too.
Again let me state that speaking from a CofE perspective (Well my upbringing) I believe all religion to be pants, however that doesn't mean that I believe that all people who follow religions are intrinsically bad and that includes the monarchy.
Not really.I think “indifferent” probably covers that.
Have you thought of emigrating? ;-)Not really.
Then I guess you can abstain. Not really.
Indifferent. In fact I don't even care if the north continues to be under the crown, I just want them out of the UK and in the Republic, even under devolved government. Not really.
I’ll have to. What I was trying to say was that I would like the monarchy to continue but I wouldn’t be too upset if it didn’t.Then I guess you can abstain.
Do you want to be the only Queen in the village?I voted indifferent by the way, as it has nothing to do with me. You will do what you want.
I wouldn’t have it here though.
That's the thing, we're a Republic. We're all royalty here.Do you want to be the only Queen in the village?
But with the whole dual citizenship ideal we have proffered upon the people of Northern Ireland, I don’t see it as quite fair that those that identify as nationalist can’t take their seat in Westminster unless they sign up to your sectarian constitution.
I’m getting my Canadian citizenship within the next couple of years anyway, at which point I’ll be indifferent : )Indifferent. In fact I don't even care if the north continues to be under the crown, I just want them out of the UK and in the Republic, even under devolved government.
Isn't the King still your monarch though?I’m getting my Canadian citizenship within the next couple of years anyway, at which point I’ll be indifferent : )
